There are times I have a hard time being appropriately upset with my girls. It would be easier if they weren’t so darned cute. It is mostly apparent today in our Mischievous Princess Magpie, but it happens with them all

As the days run quickly into one another and the big move races towards me, I find myself noticing my girls more. I spend time amidst the boxes watching as they giggle and dance together. They fill me with such joy as I can’t even express

There are moments of pure unadulterated love. Moments when the world reminds you that despite the early morning hours and stinky diapers that here . . .

What could two seagulls and a crab possibly have to do with education? Well, they will help me share my big picture, which will then allow me to transition into the specific details I’ve held myself back from writing about for so long. I’m still hesitant, but this post is like a big deep breath of sea air for me

It is amazing to me how every time one of my babies starts a new stage, I feel like I am doing this for the first time too. You would think that by the time I am on my third child, I would have this down pat, but I don’t. I worry just as much that she is doing okay.

I am trying to come up with ways to celebrate “Not Back to School Day” with Princess Belle, on Wednesday. It is her first day of being in the boys and girls club in the evenings and I know she is looking forward to that. But I would like to make it a special day all day.

I have a policy at My Brand Name Baby of never featuring items that I don’t like or wouldn’t want for my own daughter or wouldn’t give as a gift to a good friend. With that said, some reviews are harder to write than others, for various reasons

I previously posted about Bratsacks Babywares’ toddler backpacks. I am impressed with this etsy shop for it’s creativity, use of many recycled fabrics, and as I said in my previous post, the fact that they made an airplane-themed pack in “girl” colors.

The study for Week 5 can be found here. This week we are focused on Proverbs 31:12, “She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.” Sunny first shares the definition of “good” with us, and WOW! It is all-encompassing! From morals to behavior, to attitude to finances, to character and health. WOW! As a feeling person, holding onto Proverbs 16:2 and 25 are of great help for me to realize that I (and my thinking) am not always right!!!! And OH! Wasn’t yesterday’s attitude adjustment just the PERFECT intro to today’s study as Sunny talks about attitude? LOL! Makes me wonder, especially in pregnancy, how much of a tone I’ve set in the strifes among the brethren around the house? Or of present circumstances with all the work going on and all the goals I’m wanting to achieve? OUCH! Sunny’s questions to self are GOOD ONES and remind me of a story I think I’ve shared before. About ten years ago when our first son was a toddler, my darling and I were having a discussion. It wasn’t heated, but we were not in agreement, and as my darling left the room I rolled my eyes. Then I looked down to see the face of my toddler looking right up into mine. I vowed in that moment to be careful all the days of my life in how I respected my darling in every way~even in facial expression~because I knew I was teaching my child to do the same and did NOT want to breed disrespect in my children towards their father EVER! I love Sunny’s ideas on the daily *little* offerings she gives to her family. It does really help to not see the vision as overwhelming and to not rest with discontent in my failures. I also enjoyed the song “One Pure and Holy Passion” at the end~may I run after the LORD with such passion, obsession, and ambition!!!!! (((((HUGS)))))) sandi
