It is a funny tradition in our house that each of our kids has a mascot animal. It is an animal that comes up in gifts for them.

Not only is it time for me to get back to blogging, it’s time for me to accept the fact that My Brand Name Baby is no longer a baby. In fact, 5 weeks from tomorrow, she will be in Kindergarten! The first step in working towards acceptance is a name change for my blog. My Brand Name Kid will still feature great items for babies, but I will also focus on the best products for children and teens.

Regatta Day
Sometimes, I catch one of my kids doing something that has no particular significance, but I can’t resist taking pics, catching them just being themselves. These pics were of Princess Snifflefritz just before I got her dressed for the day. She was so completely, absolutely, adorably her that I had get photographic evidence of her sweetness.

Well all in all it was a pretty craptastic day. If it could go wrong it did. I am trying to give away (for free!!) an old deep freeze that doesn’t fit in our new house
